Dylann Chapman was the Queensland State Finalist in 2024 Australian Marine Industry Awards. Dylann was an Apprentice Boilermaker in his 3rd year at Cairns based Tropical Reef Shipyard and was recognised for his dedication and passion for the marine industry. Dylann was then selected to speak at a Marine Jobs Careers Conference in Cairns. His advice for those looking to enter the marine industry - Always learn from those who came before you. Pick up every tool, take on every job offered, and always show respect—because those around you are the ones who will educate and guide you. We wish Dylann every success in his marine future!
