As a business division of The Environmental Group Limited, Baltec Inlet & Exhaust Systems (Baltec IES) is an Australian owned & operated company and provides a range of services to the Gas Turbine power industry with a strong focus to engineer a sustainable future. The company has been in operation since 1987 and has steadily expanded its operations to now provide its services across the globe. Baltec IES provides a broad range of products to the industry, such as Gas Turbine inlet filtration systems (filter houses), inlet cooling/fogging systems, Acoustical Components, Expansion Joints and complete exhaust systems with guillotine and diverter dampers. This is applicable for both new systems and upgrades, retrofits and spare parts can be supplied. While these complete systems are the most common requests by our clients, Baltec IES provides a range of other products to cover non-standard applications or specific requests made by our clients. To enable Baltec IES to cater for specific client requests, engineering services are provided to tailor any of our products to meet client requirements. Baltec IES was formed in Australia in 1987, with the goal of providing the power-generation industry with quality gas turbine inlet, exhaust and heating/cooling systems. Manufacturing experience extends into 25 countries throughout Asia, Europe and Latin America. Baltec IES prides itself on the long-term relationships it has developed with its clients over an extended period of time. Baltec IES has designed and manufactured inlet systems, also known as filter houses, and exhaust systems for machines ranging in size from GT10 / LM2500 (20MW) to SSC5-4000F / Fr9FA (300MW), some complete with cooling systems. Baltec IES is committed to producing quality products. Our Quality Assurance system complies with international standard ISO9001:2008.

🌏Engineering a sustainable future through cutting-edge solutions on a global scale. As a pivotal component of the Hunter Power Project in NSW, Australia, Baltec IES has successfully engineered and shipped its largest filter house system to date for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI). This project, commissioned by Snowy Hydro, involved the manufacturing and supply of gas turbines, generators, and related auxiliaries. The Hunter gas-fired power plant is intended to fill the gap in electricity demand following the closure of the aging 2GW Liddell coal-fired power station in NSW.
