Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, ‘Life Is The reason’ has officially launched. The campaign aims to gather 100,000 personal reasons behind blood, plasma and platelet donation, with the goal of attracting 100,000 new donors each year. The 'Life is the Reason' campaign amplifies the real, personal, and life-saving reasons of real Lifeblood donors. With just three percent of the eligible population currently donating, we’re challenging all Australians to find their reason to give. Huge thanks to everyone involved in this campaign including DDB, Mr Fox Post and Jolyon Watkins. We're pretty thrilled to have won a bronze for Porsche Pong at The Gerety Awards. Here's a little something Tristan Dewey wrote of how he took on this project. We were tasked with re-recording Vivaldi’s ‘Winter’ - chosen for its premium and alluring feel. The idea was to have the music sounding like it was coming from an old arcade game. Rather than just use one original 8-bit synth line, we layered the arrangement as if it w as a full symphony orchestra, played on an original 8-bit synth chip sets with lots of dynamic changes and bold arrangement choices. By building up multiple instruments we increased the immersive cinematic experience whilst staying true to the 8bit world of the ‘game’.
