For those of you in Northern NSW and Southern QLD preparing for heavy winds and rain, here are some practical tips from Battleground for you and your workplaces: 1. Keep your employees up to date with your expectations - make them feel safe and cared for. 2. Review your BCPs and make sure they are up to date. 3. Make sure everyone who needs to access plans has them and has backup copies online and offline. 4. Understand any locations that might be more susceptible to damage - could be offices, warehouses, or even home location of key people. 5. Confirm if anyone needs to work from specific locations and ensure they have appropriate transport. 6. Understand what your critical suppliers are doing. 7. Ensure sufficient supplies at all locations (including home). 8. Keep your devices charged (including your backup powerbanks).
