Soaring progress at the Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2! At the project site in Dongara, Western Australia, the team has been making strong progress, achieving mechanical completion on four Sales Gas Compressors. With the commencement of commissioning on the process systems, the plant is now in full commissioning control.   Ranked as one of the largest gas fields ever discovered onshore in Australia, the project includes a 250TJ/day gas processing plant and associated gas-gathering pipelines, and will contribute to the stable supply of LNG to meet increasing global demand as well as continuing to supply domestic gas for use by Western Australian manufacturers and consumers.   Clough is delivering the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU) and Beach Energy Ltd’s Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 development. With our parent company, Webuild, we have strengthened capabilities, delivering iconic and pioneering projects together.   #CloughGroup #WesternAustralia #Engineering #Construction #Energy #Drone

Beach is pleased to announce the Moomba Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project has begun safely and securely storing CO2 emissions in depleted underground reservoirs. Moomba CCS, a Joint Venture with Santos Ltd, is one of the biggest CCS projects in the world. Our Managing Director and CEO Brett Woods said today marked a pivotal moment in Australia’s emissions reduction journey. “It is widely accepted that natural gas will play a critical role in the energy transition and that CCS is a necessary enabler for low emissions energy supply. The International Energy Agency has stated that it will be near impossible to reach net zero by 2050 without CCS. “Thanks to Beach’s significant investment in Moomba CCS, we are now well on track to reach our targeted net Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity reduction of 35% by 2030.” Read our announcement to the ASX here: https://bit.ly/4fq0j1p # Australian Energy Producers Global CCS Institute

While there are many presented paths to net-zero, the only credible solutions recognise natural gas as critical in the energy transition. Watch the below video from Australian Energy Producers from their campaign, “Natural Gas – Keeping the Country Running” to learn how natural gas produced in Australia by companies like Beach Energy, helps fuel industries essential to our lives. #KeepingTheCountryRunning #NaturalGas #EnergyTransition
