We love our tradies and our partners, so last week we held a trade breakfast at our Norwood Store in SA. Thanks to Ardex, DTA, RLA, BAT, Lauxes for coming along and showcasing your new innovations and products. All enjoyed a breakfast of eggs, bacon and hash browns, made with love by Beaumont team members Trevor Grindley and Edin Kadiric! This was followed by a barista-made coffee made by Matthew - is there a better way to start the day? Those who attended also walked away with some great giveaways and prizes. What a moment last week, as existing franchise partners from Victor Harbor, Dorian & Kylie Chambers where handed the keys to their second Beaumont Showroom Mt Barker (SA) by Steve, who together with Vlad have been part of the Beaumont family for over 35 years. They started as Trade customers, progressing to a Beaumont Bathrooms Franchise, then taking on and growing the successful Beaumont Tiles showroom in Mt Barker. Pictured is Steve (left) handing the keys to Dorian and congratulating him expanding their business. Steve said he’s was pleased with the transition and is keen to relax, do some fishing. "However, tiling for me is in the blood, so semi-retirement might find me doing a few small tiling jobs". Today we celebrate team member Ellie Zevenboom, who has been with us for 5 years. Starting as Marketing Assistant and now our Social Media Manager. Ellie said: The past five years with Beaumonts have been a rollercoaster! When I came across the job ad, it said 'graduates need not apply' so I was sure I wasn't going to get the job! My superstar Boss, Hermine, took a chance on me and gave me the job. I joined the team just before everything changed due to Covid. I was soon in the deep end while we worked rapidly to keep up with consumer sentiment and changing rules and regulations around the country. I learnt ALOT, fast. Now it's safe to say, I am obsessed with Beaumonts and the brand and love bringing it to life through our work in marketing. Beaumonts as an employer have been so supportive of me over the past five years particularly, while I became a Mum. I will forever be grateful for the way I was supported back into the workplace. Five years has flown by and I am so excited to see what the next five years holds.
