Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Vertical/Horizontal Boring Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC Vertical/Horizontal Boring machines, interpreting technical drawings, and producing high-quality precision components. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC Vertical/Horizontal Boring machines, including mills and lathes, to produce parts according to specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Set up machines, including loading tools and adjusting settings. Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed. Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and precision. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining preferred. Proven experience as a CNC Vertical/Horizontal Boring Machinist or in a similar role. Proficiency in operating CNC mills and lathes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with measuring tools and inspection equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
