CEO up in FNQ this week. Unfortunately too wet to conduct the scheduled soil and leaf tests. But not too wet to catch up with some of our quality growers and assess progress of the paddocks. Very happy at this farm with some of the bunch sizes, Derek activity, biological activity, and new planting performance.

Getting to the exciting part of the Biohub Sequest BioPlan to reduce salinity stress in these macadamias around Bundaberg. First drop has begun and harvesting is underway. We will keep you updated on the yield results that will form part of our gross margin review. #measuremeasuremeasure #bioplan #ecchallenges #biohubsequest

The correct solutions are able to have positive effects on cropping starting from germination. That’s why we look at the whole system from start to finish and not just a snippet in the middle. We extend our BioPlans to include seedling, transplant, and through to harvest stages. #measuremeasuremeasure #bioplan #dataisking

As part of our business partner training and support we provide these agronomy manuals. Contained within is full explanation of all our products, measurement protocols for BioPlans, BioPlan data, and intgreated solution examples. With this information and training, it ensures that our business partner agronomists will look at an integrated solution based on data. Not merely following a predetermined recipe. #biohubbps #educationiskey

Because twice is not enough! Starting a new round of repeated BioPlans in lettuce because when is comes to fast rotation crops they encounter many variations in weather. We need to know how the heat, cold, light and precipitation events are challenging our solutions in real growing conditions. So here we go again and loving it! #measuremeasuremeasure #bioplan

Still up in NQ and this time in Charters Towers. It was awesome to catch up again with Katelin Reddacliff and Grace McDonald to go through our BioPlan training session. We covered off our measurement processes and how biologicals potentially fit into an integrated solution. Perko will be back soon to mentor both in the paddock with growers and also to get a first hand understanding of the challenges in the area. If you are in the area and have questions around soil and plant health, please make Elders Charters Towers your first stop. #biohubbps #thepowerofwhy

Measurements are an important part of our BioPlans. We utilise Microbiometer as part of these process to trend biology levels and balance. Here there has been an improvement in the macadamia BioPlan with increases of 39% total biology and 66% in fungi. The fungal bacterial ratio is now sitting at our preferred 1:1. Our next step will be to confirm the full biology numbers at the end of the season and review our biological strategy. #measuremeasuremeasure #bioplan #Microbiometer

Our CEO is in NQ this week and spent some time with Lachlan Brooks from Elders Rural in Ayr. He is a great young agronomist with a passion for soil/plant health and has a great mentor in Craig Barrett. Lachlan completed our training overview yesterday and we are proud to add Elders Ayr to our business partner family. If you are in the Burdekin region and have questions regarding integrated soil solutions, be sure to contact Craig and Lachie. #biohubbps #thepowerofwhy #education
