Had so much fun celebratating our 2nd year anniversary as a company. We are about 2 mths later for it lol but better late than never right. We went more simple this year and just got together at my house so we coule include partners and kidsas well this time, huge thankyou to my partner (even though he wont see this haha) for doing 90% of the cookingand prep work. Unfortunately 2 of our crazy group were to sick to come so we made sure to include them anyway, they just hung out at the coffee bar haha. We weren't sure if our gorgeous leeann would make it as shes off on maternity leave, we were so happy to see her in person even if it was just a short pop in. see our Facebook photos for more images if you want. I'm annoyed at myself for not taking more photos but we were to busy enjoying ourselves. #workfamily #anniversary #disabilityinclusion

Meet the latest team/family member: Introducing Phillip: Phillip is joining us with five years prior experience, working as a support Worker for two years and then becoming a team coordinator, Phil then went on to become a support coordinator for two years before joining us. Phil is proud to say that he has worked with a diverse range of clients all the way from Autism to strokes and mental health conditions plus more (so its fair to say he knows his stuff 😊). Phil is a strong believer in standing alongside vulnerable people and doing his part to help them into their independence and restorations. Some fun little facts about Phil, Phillip love's great music and food and playing fun games, He also loves connecting with people over a steaming fragrant bowl of Pho or homemade short-rib beef Ragu. Phil has played music sense he was a child and got into it with his love of punk rock drumming before doing a 180 and learning to play the piano and guitar as an adult. Phil loves to play games with his friends when he gets a chance to relax, this could either be going out and playing basketball, soccer and cricket or it could be sitting down and playing FIFA or Smash Brothers. We look forward for all of you to see his friendly demeanour and funny but healthy banter. If you’re interested in finding out if Phillip can assist you with your NDIS needs please contact admin@brightcolour.com.au or directly message this page and we will get

Meet the newest Team/family member: Introducing James: James is our first of 3 to join the Bright Colour family. We are all very excited to get to know him better and see what exciting and wondering things he will bring to the company and his future clients. James has a cert 1V in health care, he has worked for 5 years as a volunteer ambulance officer. James may be brand new to support coordination for now, but we have no doubt in our minds at all how quickly he will grow and make significant changes for those he supports. With his extensive experience in the health care sector, he is well equipped for the challenges of support coordination. James has 3 children who he is raising with his adorable husband aged 10,12 and 14. 2 of his children are diagnosed with ADHD so therefore has lived experience in his own home of the challenges that can come from living with disabilities along with the knowledge he gained in his years working varied shifts in the Ambo’s. When asked what his unique skill was he said a good sense of humour. This has shown this during his interview and onboarding time. I guess time will tell just how funny he really is and if he can keep up with the looniness of the rest of us haha. In his down time James loves to spend time with his family and go to speedways. If interested in finding out if James can assist you with your NDIS needs please contact admin@brightcolour.com.au or directly message this page and we will get back to you

I could not be prouder than I am right now to officially announce our first major promotion within our amazing little team. Fleur has been building and training for this role for quite some time. It is finally time to officially announce Fleurette as the COO (chief operations officer) of Bright Colour. Fleurette will continue to provide on going support to her current and future clients while also assisting with the day to day functions of the business. Her first task as COO starts today which is finalising the interviews to select someone for her own team to coach and become the kind of support coordinator we are all proud to be. Good luck in your new role and I look forward to many working hours game planning and laughing with you Fleurette. Tori Picture: Fleurette holding a chicken while laughing
