- 💭 Leadership Professional Learning with Springfox Resilience Institute The Middle Leadership and College Leadership Team were privileged to work once again with resilience expert, leadership coach and CEO of the Resilience Institute Australia and Springfox, Peta Sigley. Aligning with the AITSL Professional Standards for Middle Leaders, Peta facilitated an incredible learning lab with leaders diving into empathy and compassion through the Social Investment Model. Engaging in reflective practice, the leaders were able to identify their competency for listening, reading facial expressions, and understanding perceptions. In addition, as individuals, the leaders reflected on their three resilience diagnostic assessments, and developed an action plan to support improvement in their own wellbeing to sustain high performance. We look forward to continuing this important work with Peta to foster resilient leaders. "Resilient leaders and staff are the foundation of human capital. When people consistently bring healthy bodies, positive energy, clear thinking and purpose to work, and organisation achieves Resilience" (Springfox, 2018).
