Once your building permit is approved, you’ll receive all the details you need, including inspection requirements, commencement guidelines, and any necessary permit amendments. This information ensures you’re fully prepared to keep your project on track. In accordance with Building Act 1993, the person that is named as the builder in the building permit must ensure the building surveyor is notified without delay of the completion of each mandatory notification stage of that work. All inspections must be approved together with a regulation 126 compliance certificate, before proceeding to the next mandatory stage. Remember to avoid delays in your project - inspection bookings require 48 hours’ notice and must be booked directly with Builde. Got questions?
