This is what community connection and philanthropy looks like! Business Women Albury Wodonga and Albury Wodonga Health are proud to officially launch the new and improved children's play area at Albury base hospital. This journey started 12 months ago with a modest goal of raising $4,000 to upgrade the outdated cubby house and ended in a total amount of $36,655 raised! We have been able to replace the cubby, replace the turf, provide a brand-new sensory room and provide additional funds for AWH to purchase their choice of new furniture and toys for the space. "The new play area is more than just a recreational space for children; it’s an essential part of the healing environment for our young patients.’’ William Appleby , CEO of Albury Wodonga Health emphasised. A huge thanks to all of our donors, including Innovate Health Group as well Albury Business Connect & Business Wodonga for their support and AWH team for helping us bring this vision to life.
