CareBridge feature update Sep 2024: 📣 Introducing the SLIDING SCALE DISTANCE filter!! In recent times, aged care recruitment has experienced a surge in job applications (i.e. carers), some of our clients experience up to 800 applicants per job ad! Filtering and screening through such high volumes is a painstaking and tedious task. That's why we're excited to introduce a new feature designed to make your job easier - the Sliding Scale Distance Filter. This concept is commonly used in other retail industries such as booking hotel accommodation (e.g. Booking.com and AirBnb) and flights (e.g. Google Flights, etc.) - mainly to filter on pricing. Why This Matters: Our new sliding scale filter lets you flexibly adjust the applications you see based on how far candidates live from the job location and provides a helicopter view of the number of applicants at each distance! This means you can: - Quickly filter candidates based on flexible distance ranges. - Broaden or narrow your search by re-applying distance filters alongside other key criteria like experience and qualifications. - Gain insights into the distance distribution of applicants, helping you focus on those closer to the job site. Why We Built This: Residential Care: Staff living closer to the facility are more likely to pick up shifts at short notice, reducing reliance on agencies and improving continuity of care. Home Care: Proximity affects staff satisfaction and retention. Support workers are more likely to accept last-minute assignments if they’re close to home, directly impacting scheduling efficiency and employee retention. Another reason why at CareBridge we specialise in aged care recruitment!😊 ⚠ Please leave a comment below to let us know if you find this helpful. ⚠ Struggling for new ideas on how to reduce agency usage? 💰 Comment "research" or pm me and we can share more insight on the inverse relationship between perm staff living close to facilities and the use of agencies!

At CareBridge, we recognise the transformative potential of integrating generative AI into aged care, including residential, community, and home care settings. Here’s how it can make a difference: 1. Administrative Efficiency: Automating routine paperwork and data entry, freeing up staff for direct care of recipients. 2. Enhanced Communication: Creating intelligent systems for quick policy retrieval and improved information sharing between departments. 3. Data-Driven Insights: Analysing vast unstructured data to identify patterns and improve diagnoses and care strategies. 4. Decision Support: Assisting clinicians in synthesising care recipient information for better decision-making. 5. Care Recipient Experience: Advanced voice assistants can enhance daily interactions and the quality of life for care recipients. 6. Staff Empowerment: AI-driven tools can boost efficiency across various departments, from marketing to operations. 7. Predictive Analytics: Identifying high-risk care recipients and developing personalised preventive care strategies. To implement these solutions effectively, management must work closely with AI experts. Unlike traditional standardised services, generative AI needs to be tailored to address unique challenges, ensuring it integrates seamlessly and smoothly into daily operations. #CareBridge #AgedCare #Innovation #AI #GenerativeAI #Efficiency #Australia
