Our development at 50 Quay Street Brisbane has had some significant milestones.
It’s been a huge few months at our 50 Quay Street Build to Rent (BtR) project along the Brisbane River. Two of Hutchies Cranes & Hoists’ Favco luffing cranes are now up and today the team hosted a traditional smoking ceremony on site with our friends Shannon Ruska and Tribal Experiences. The project is being developed by Cedar Pacific and will be home to 475 apartments with a variety of on site amenities and facilities for residents. It’s also aiming for a range of sustainability targets including 5 Star Green Star v1 and 5 Star NatHERS ratings. Cedar Pacific is excited to announce that two of our projects, Wills and La Trobe, located in Melbourne have achieved a 5-Star Green Star Design & As Built certified rating! These two purpose-built student accommodations (PBSA) projects, located at 293 La Trobe Street and 17-21 Wills Street Melbourne Victoria, began operations in February 2023 and achieved their certified Design & As Built 5-Star rating last month. This achievement highlights our Company’s commitment to sustainable building practices and excellence in construction. Receiving these ratings underscores that the PBSA buildings we develop are not just places to live, but also environments that promote sustainability and well-being for our students. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our incredible team, including all our partners involved throughout the design, development and certification process. We are proud to be leading the way in sustainable development and to offer our residents a more conscious and sustainable place to live.
