We'd like to commend Tahlia Polkinghorne from CMI Toyota Christies Beach, Charles Zhang from Lexus of Adelaide, Melanie Blackburn and Belinda Parker from CMV Group, and Belinda's mum, Kaye Patrick, on their fantastic work at a recent volunteering session at Backpacks 4 SA Kids. During the session, the team sorted and organised donated items, and packed backpacks for children and young people who have been removed or have left home, often in traumatic situations. The backpacks provide these children with something they can call their own, with many not able to take any personal belongings with them when leaving home.

The Stroke Foundation was recently nominated by an employee for a donation from the CMV Group Staff Foundation in acknowledgment of the fantastic support services provided to patients and their families following a stroke, and throughout the recovery and rehabilitation journey. As a result of this nomination, CMV Group Staff Foundation Committee Member, Daniel Scott, along with some of the team from Mercedes-Benz Unley was thrilled to hand over a generous donation to Lena Milshtein from the Stroke Foundation.

Last month, CMV Truck & Bus Dandenong went pink in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and the CMV Group Staff Foundation were pleased to provide a donation towards the total fundraising efforts of the team. Pictured with the cheque to NBCF are staff from CMV Truck & Bus Dandenong including Kathryn Tomazos, who sadly lost her mum, Helen in 2023, and Breast Cancer survivor, Judy who joined the team for lunch and to accept the cheque on NBCF’s behalf.

Well done to Alissa from CMI Toyota Cheltenham, and Ilze and Andrea from South Central Truck & Bus who recently participated in a CMV Group volunteering session at The Village CO, a fantastic charity that supports and empowers new mums.
