Exciting times! We’re on track and halfway there. As you can see in this clip, the $100 Million pharmaceutical plant we’re building in the Terre Property Partners Nexus North Industrial Estate in Salisbury South, north of Adelaide, is fast taking shape. Sitting on a site around 2.5 times the size of Adelaide Oval (34,000m2), our 26,000m2 state-of-the-art facility will comprise a manufacturing plant and warehouse which are 54% and 35% built, respectively. We will recruit over 120 people in pharmacy, science, engineering and logistics roles in the future. Together, our people will fulfil Noumed’s vision to enhance Australia’s sovereign supply into the pharmacy and health network by bringing the manufacture of millions of units of important everyday medicines onshore. Build stats to date: •     56 workers are currently on site each day •     40,113 hours have been worked •     28 local companies are providing essential trades and services during construction •     54,288 tonnes of clean fill has been used to prepare the site •     1,271 tonnes of steel has been used for structure, roofing and cladding •     19,730 tonnes of concrete has been used for footings, slabs and precast panels •     4,000m2 (an acre) of flooring for the manufacturing mezzanine is being installed as we speak We acknowledge the support of the Australian Government and thank Terre Property Partners, FDC Construction & Fitout and TMX Transform for making this project possible. We look forward to giving our current and future clients greater benefits, from the comfort of being able to see their products being manufactured locally to an enhanced supply of products to their shelves, faster. ---------- About us: Noumed is an Australian Over the Counter (OTC) pharmaceutical company that currently supplies customers in Australia and New Zealand with proprietary products via its Adelaide distribution hub. The company’s decision to shift its manufacturing focus to Australia will boost local knowledge, collaboration and employment pathways.

  • Fire Protection Systems offer a range of critical benefits for both people and property. Some of the main advantages include: 1. Safety of Life: The primary benefit is the protection of lives. Fire protection systems, such as alarms, sprinklers, and fire extinguishers, help ensure that people can evacuate safely and quickly in the event of a fire. 2. Property Preservation: Effective fire protection helps prevent or minimize damage to buildings and personal property. This can save on repair and replacement costs and reduce financial losses for property owners. 3. Business Continuity: For businesses, fire protection can be crucial in maintaining operations. A well-protected business is less likely to suffer extended downtime or financial loss due to fire-related disruptions. 4. Insurance Benefits: Properties with robust fire protection systems often benefit from lower insurance premiums. Insurance companies may offer discounts for installations like sprinklers and fire alarms because they reduce the risk of significant damage. 5. Regulatory Compliance: Many regions have building codes and regulations that mandate fire protection measures. Adhering to these codes helps avoid legal issues and potential fines. 6. Community Safety: Effective fire protection systems contribute to overall community safety by reducing the risk of large-scale fires that can spread and affect neighboring properties and areas. 7. Reduced Emergency Response Time: Advanced fire protection systems can alert emergency services more quickly, leading to faster response times and potentially reducing the extent of fire damage. 8. Enhanced Property Value: Properties equipped with modern fire protection systems may have higher market value and appeal, as prospective buyers often view these features as a sign of safety and reliability. 9. Peace of Mind: Knowing that there are measures in place to protect against fires provides peace of mind to occupants and property owners, allowing them to focus on other aspects of their lives or business operations. 10. Environmental Protection: By containing and controlling fires more effectively, fire protection systems help reduce the environmental impact of fires, including air pollution and damage to local ecosystems. Overall, fire protection is a vital aspect of safety and risk management that benefits individuals, businesses, and communities alike and here at Combined Fire Systems Pty Ltd we can assist you with all aspects of Fire Protection, call us today or visit our website at www.combinedfire.com.au for more information #protectingwhatmatters #fireandlifesafety #fireprotection
