October 10th marks #WorldMentalHealthDay. The theme for this year is "It is time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace". At dss⁺, we understand that life can be challenging at times and issues with health, family, and work problems can cause worries and anxiety. September 29th marks the International Day of Awareness of #Food Loss and Waste #FLWDay We share a story from Perú, where we brought technical assistance to enable a local manufacturer build pyrolysis machines to implement circularity, with a focus on valorising by-products through the conversion of biomass waste into #biochar (serving as a soil improver and the primary component of self-made bio-fertilizer) benefiting the cocoa and banana value chains. dss⁺ team built operators’ capacity to manage the pyrolysis machine in the field and taught them how to apply biochar. Ultimately, valuable knowledge on climate-smart agricultural practices, #sustainability, and emissions reduction was transferred to the local operators. #agriculture #cirulareconomy https://lnkd.in/dAgTvF9G
