About us

Company Overview Copper Metal’s flag ship Mt Isa East Cu-Au Project covers over 1300 sq.km of tenure with numerous historical Cu-Au workings and prospects already identified for immediate follow up exploration. The Mt Isa Inlier is highly prospective for iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) and shear hosted Cu +/- Au deposits. Mt Isa East is complimented by two early stage Projects in WA within proven well mineralised districts. The Yarmana Gold Project located along strike from Gold Roads 6.16 Moz world class Gruyere Gold Deposit (ASX: GOR) has an extensive length of untested Dorothy Hills Shear Zone that was important in the formation of Gruyere < 10 km to the southeast. Lastly the Gooroo Cu and Au Project covers newly identified greenstone belt ~20 km from Silver Lakes Deflector mine. The 26 km expanse of covered greenstone belt has had almost no exploration and was only added to government geology maps in 2020 after reinterpretation of geophysical data.

Metals Procurement & Risk Management Leader | I Post about Copper, Commodities and Global Supply Chains

Copper the most bullish base metal for H2, market players say Featured in ZAWYA originally by Reuters News Agency by Siyi Liu and Mai Nguyen "Copper is the base metal with the most bullish potential in the second half of the year, due to continued tight raw material supply, improving Chinese demand and funds interest, industry participants and analysts said this week". "At a seminar hosted by the LME on Thursday, 51% of the audience picked copper as the metal with the most upside potential for the second half, followed by aluminium and nickel at 16% each". "Supporting the bullish copper story is continued tightness in the raw materials market and expectations that copper smelters will cut output". "Wang Yanchen, an analyst at SMM, said the copper concentrate and ore market could run a deficit of about half a million tons in 2025, widening from an expected 200,000 ton-deficit this year". https://lnkd.in/dXwnQev3

🥇 Cooper Metals (ASX: CPM) Unearths High-Grade Gold at Gooroo Project Exciting news from Western Australia! Cooper Metals has hit the rock chip jackpot with its latest exploration efforts at the Gooroo Project 🔑 Key Highlights: - Rock samples containing up to 48.3 g/t gold - Six distinct areas of elevated gold levels identified - Foxglove area: soil samples up to 118 ppb gold - Smokebush and Darwinia areas also show promise - Regulatory approvals for drill testing in progress 🔬 What it means: In gold exploration, grades above 5 g/t are considered high-grade, making the 48.3 g/t sample a standout result. While it's from a single rock chip sample, it suggests a notable target for more exploration. 🌍 Market Context: With gold prices near record highs due to global economic uncertainties and inflation concerns, new gold discoveries are highly sought after. 👨🔬 From the Managing Director, Ian Warland: “Our latest geochemical sampling results at Gooroo are really starting to build some excitement especially around the Foxglove anomaly where an iron rich mafic rock assayed 48.3 g/t Au (GOR037). Foxglove (Anomaly 1) also has a very high peak soil gold value of 118ppb, coincident with a sample high grade rock chip of 48.3g/t Au." "This area is proximal to interpreted faults that may have been important plumbing mechanisms in the region for gold mineralisation. After focussing on acquiring further key geochemical and geological datasets, Cooper is now working hard to obtain the necessary regulatory approvals for drill testing in the future. We look forward to updating the market with our progress in the near future.” Next Steps: - Conduct more detailed sampling - Obtain approvals for drill testing - Further investigate gold occurrences at depth 🔗 Read our article | Link Below: #GoldMining #Exploration #ASX #CPM #WesternAustralia

Cooper Metals Ltd (ASX:CPM) managing director Ian Warland sits down with Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss results from additional geochemical sampling at the Gooroo Project in Western Australia. The project targets orogenic #gold and copper-gold mineralisation in the Gullewa Greenstone Belt, known for significant gold deposits like the Deflector mine. Recent sampling in May 2024 revealed enhanced gold anomalies, with notable results including a rock chip sample from the new Foxglove anomaly assaying up to 48.3 g/t. Soil sampling identified six gold soil anomalies in key structural trap sites, such as the Gullewa syncline and regional faults, crucial for gold deposit formation. The Foxglove anomaly showed a maximum soil gold value of 118ppb, while other areas like Smokebush and Darwinia also displayed higher gold values with maximums of 16.2ppb and 42.8ppb, respectively.
