Simple Stretches for the Workplace Seated Heart Opener Sit tall in your chair, place your hands on your knees, and gently lift your chest to open the heart. Great for posture and energy! Standing Quad Stretch Stand up, hold your right foot with your right hand, and gently stretch the front of your thigh. Perfect for countering the effects of sitting all day (repeat each side). Tricep Opener Stretch your arm overhead and bend at the elbow, using your other hand to gently press on your elbow. This releases tight shoulders and improves breathing. Shoulder Opener If you would like to take the tricep opener deeper you can clasp your hands behind your back, use a belt or strap to help. This is great for loosening up tight shoulders from sitting at a desk. These simple stretches can easily fit into your day.
