Thank you to Ballina Shire Council and all of the employees who joined me at the Safety & Wellbeing Expo this week. What makes a wellbeing expo so successful? - Invite your providers to come and exhibit and speak right across the day. (Book them early!) - Run sessions multiple times to allow your teams to come in between tasks. - Combine exhibition space with keynote and workshops - Offer breaky or BBQ lunch for everyone! I presented 3 wellbeing talks on: Tricks of a Nutritionist Sleep Hazards & Health Habits Mood Boosting in 7 new ways. Every attendee left with a cheat sheet to implement their new action plan. We had loads of interaction through live polls and groups discussions. I great vibe in the room. Special thanks to Alanah Ward, Graeme Vaughan and Krystle Wells for organising the day. Time, conflicting priorities and overwhelm can be relieved by outsourcing part or all of your wellbeing program. We support businesses with audits, creating programs and delivery, so end to end support. 3. Managers knowledge, commitment and buy-in can be overcome with a strong business case. ROI, VOI and legal obligations can be found on our website. Our audits make this case specific and super strong. 4. Diverse audience and needs can be addressed with a multiple delivery model. Yesterday was an important milestone at Corporate Wellbeing Hub. While Mental Health Month is always the biggest month on the wellbeing calendar, yesterday was a day full of mental health support for 4 businesses in one day. So how do we measure success? Our mission, is to enhance wellbeing one person at a time. Success is making a difference to as many employees as we can reach. Thank you to Nestlé, LGPro VIC (Local Government Professionals), AusNet and Sharpe Engineering who trusted us to support their employees' wellbeing. We are grateful to the outstanding humans who are leading the way in wellbeing - Natasha Piner, Kerrie McVicker, Carly Hanlon and Alexa Velasquez.
