For the first time, CRN Australia and iTnews, which are read by decision makers in thousands of significant Australian organisations, will publish an index of Australian MSPs: https://lnkd.in/gdBhS_55 MSPs operating in Australia play a vital role managing business-critical IT, dealing with cybersecurity threats and helping millions of Australian organisations operate more productively and cost-effectively. These MSPs are a crucial part of Australia's IT industry and CRN Australia's audience, and work with decision makers that read iTnews. The CRN Australia MSP Index gives these MSPs an opportunity to: - Be listed in a directory of MSPs operating in Australia published by CRN Australia and our sister publication iTnews, publications read by many thousands of Australian IT and non-IT organisations - Provide data for a barometer of business maturity, opportunities and challenges in the Australian MSP landscape, to help their businesses, other MSPs and other IT providers, and others such as investors, business acquirers and MSP customers, better understand this landscape - Gain networking, information and thought leadership opportunities by being invited to MSP Index events in different states, and to other sponsored events relevant to MSPs. Eligible MSPs that apply to be listed in the MSP Index will be invited to the launch of the NSW Edition of the MSP Index in Sydney on 20th November 2024. MSPs throughout Australia can now apply to be listed in the MSP Index by completing the MSP Index survey: https://lnkd.in/gdBhS_55 #crnmspindex

"Our members don't mind sharing the problems that they've had when they've gone through a cashflow crisis, for instance, and how they got out of that," said Wayne Small (CISSP) about last week's SMBiT Professionals conference in Melbourne. Watch below. "One of the things that I love most about our community is that our members are safe. Once they get to trust each other, they don't mind being vulnerable. They don't mind sharing about the highs and lows that they've had in real life," Wayne said. "Not only are they not being judged, but they've got people gathering around them to say, 'Okay, chin up mate, you can do this.'" #crnchanneltv #smbit2024

A quick reminder for MSPs: You can apply here to list your MSP in the upcoming CRN Australia MSP Index and to attend the launch event in Sydney on November 20: https://lnkd.in/gdBhS_55 CRN Australia is building an MSP Index – a resource to spotlight the essential work MSPs do in managing business-critical IT and tackling cybersecurity threats for organisations. In time, this Index will also be published by iTnews, read by many thousands of Australian organisations. Being part of the Index is more than just a way to be in the directory. It's a way to contribute to a barometer of business maturity, opportunities and challenges - useful for MSPs, customers, investors and more. It will also provide networking and thought leadership opportunities. On 20th November, we’re hosting the MSP Index NSW Edition launch event in Sydney, where we'll share our ambitions for the Index and the timeline for its release. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback as we continue to shape it. [Partner Content] Speaking with Leo Lynch,Head of Channels ANZ at Check Point Software and Chris Georgiou, Cyber Security Pre Sales Specialist at Dicker Data on their approach for simplifying enterprise security for SMBs, captured onsite at Dicker Data #TECHX24. "Our recommendation is platform approach. We're finding we are able to bring our enterprise technology and expertise into the mid market and into the SMB space." Says Leo. "As you move into those segments of the market, the way customers want to consume is more via an MSP or as a service type of model." Chris Georgiou discusses how Dicker Data is supporting Check Point’s mission to simplify enterprise security "Check point's always been great with their solutions. But now the client are adjusting and trying to move that to an MSP platform, that’s where we have been able to help partners identify how to resell it as part of the package or sell it as an add on."
