Making connections in Mount Isa. Our safeguard for ensuring sustained systemic change is by sharing ownership of our Dads Group programs with local communities. That’s why in Mount Isa we’re working with Centacare North Queensland (NQ), and why we spent today networking with local community organisations, to broaden our network and therefore our reach to even more dads.

Introducing some of our Dads Group team leading the charge on the Sunshine Coast. We recently attended a Maternity Expo alongside Sunshine Coast Health Institute, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, Wishlist (Sunshine Coast Health Foundation) and Sunshine Coast Council.

It was a fantastic opportunity meeting new and expecting parents last week in Nambour, alongside Sunshine Coast Health Institute, Wishlist (Sunshine Coast Health Foundation), Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Sunshine Coast Council. We'll soon be re-launching the Dads of the Sunshine Coast community group, creating a space for these new dads to connect.

In Glenroy, a dad shared his journey towards finding work-life balance and prioritising self-care. Recognising the importance of spending quality time with his baby, he made the decision to request part-time work. This shift has allowed him to focus on his family while also nurturing his own well-being, creating a healthier and happier home environment.
