The CareSearchgp app is a free digital tool to support GPs to deliver palliative care. It has been funded by the Australian Government. Researchers: be part of joint Australia-UK platform trials to improve the lives of people with serious health conditions. The 2025 Australia-UK Platform Studies in Areas of Unmet Clinical Need grant opportunity will support research into: ✔️ childhood, brain and prostate cancers ✔️ stroke and traumatic brain injuries ✔️ neurodegenerative diseases ✔️ cardiometabolic conditions including obesity ✔️ other areas of health that meet funding criteria. The Medical Research Future Fund and the National Health and Medical Research Council will provide $15 million for activities in Australia. The National Institute for Health and are Research will provide the equivalent of $15 million for UK-based activities. Guidelines for the grant opportunity are now available.
