Calling Perth professional ladies, coaches, facilitators, speakers... do you want to amazing, badass and confident while also being sustainable AND helping fellow WA women overcome some of life's biggest barriers and gain financial independence? This International Women's Day, one of my favourite local charities Dress for Success Western Australia is running personal stylist sessions with a personal stylist at Raine Square. I had the honour of being their first ever personal stylist client last weekend with Carol, and I absolutely loved it and got an amazing sustainable capsule wardrobe out of it (and I HATE shopping and trying on clothes) which means I can now feel like I'm just throwing something on (and not get overwhelmed with decision fatigue) and know that I look incredible. 💃 Dress for Success Personal Styling 💥 8th March, 10am-3pm, Raine Square 👉 Bookings essential: https://lnkd.in/gkc6t22H

THANK YOU 🤍 Thank you to everyone that attended our International Women’s Day event for Women in the Forest and Timber Network! Our speakers shared their experiences as women in the industry, reflecting on how the landscape has evolved over the past 30 years - slowly but surely shifting in a positive direction. The enthusiasm in the room was incredible, with many spin-off events already in the works! Congratulations to our door prize winner, plus a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the silent auction, helping us raise funds for our 2025 chosen charity, Dress for Success Western Australia. We’d also like to extend a massive thank you to all of the partners for making this event possible; AG Trusses, Women in Forests and Timber Network QLD, FTMA Australia, Pryda Australia and New Zealand, MiTek Australia (Asia Pacific region), Vekta Automation, Multinail Australia, Staxa, Wesbeam.

  • Happy International Women's Day!!! Scarlett Johansson joins forces with Dress for Success to share an inspiring message from DFSWA client advocate Olga. When war forced Olga to flee Ukraine in 2022, she arrived in Australia with little more than a backpack and an uncertain future. Overwhelmed by the trauma of war and the challenge of starting over, she struggled to navigate the job market in a foreign country. That’s when Dress for Success stepped in, offering Olga not only professional attire but also the confidence to rebuild her career. Through their coaching sessions and career workshops, Olga refined her resume, practiced interview skills, and gained insights into the Australian job market. Beyond providing clothes, Dress for Success offered Olga a sense of community and belonging during an isolating time. The mentorship and encouragement she received played a crucial role in her journey to self-sufficiency. Inspired by this experience, Olga now volunteers to help other women in need, hoping to give back to the organisation that empowered her. Her story reflects how targeted support and a bit of kindness can transform lives, turning hardship into opportunity. #internationalwomensday #IWD2025 #marchforward #acceleratingaction #globalmovement #equalityforwomen
