  • How connected do you feel at work? We almost spend more waking hours with our colleagues than our families. It really is a no brainer that our workplaces should be joyous, life-giving places. What can you do to shift the culture at your place?

Why does workplace culture matter? A strong workplace culture — the unique way that an organization lives out its purpose and delivers on its brand promise to customers — functions as a differentiator in the marketplace. Employees and teams that feel strongly aligned with their culture are four times as likely to be engaged at work and 62% less likely to feel burned out. Unfortunately, only two in 10 U.S. employees strongly agree that they feel connected to their workplace culture.  Explore our findings here: https://lnkd.in/gNHChNFf

  • "Instead of methodologies which sit well in an alien ontology, collaboration between donors, providers and leaders may offer a pathway to more productive leadership training"*. I believe that this goes way beyond leadership development and should be our modus operandi for all our interactions with our Global South neighbours whose cultures have developed and proven true over millennia. Humility to support development to progress in a way that jibes with aspirations and a way of being for our partners is critical for success going forward and for healing wounds sustained in the past and into today. *Sanga and Reynolds, 2018. At its core, #Individualization is about sensing what's different, special and unique about people. Similarly, it can also tell how others will work well together. The next time you’re facing a challenge, lean on your Individualization strength to study others that you admire, seeing if you can identify what makes them successful. What are their unique attributes? How do they stand out? If you’re working with a team to accomplish a shared goal, leverage your Individualization to understand the perspectives of those around you. Because you're a keen observer of other people's strengths, you can draw out the best in each person and build productive teams - helping you find success in achieving common objectives. How are you using Individualization to help you achieve your goals? #CliftonStrengths https://lnkd.in/gj7Hcdg2
