The Building Designers Association of Australia is proud to announce the inaugural International Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Summit. This unique global event will bring together world-renowned sustainability experts, national industry icons, and cross-industry associations for a timely and urgent discussion on sustainability and energy efficiency in the built environment. As an official presenting partner, DuluxGroup will lead with informative CPD sessions from Dulux Acratex's, Paul Augello and Romina Basto sharing their knowledge on “Cool Roof” coatings and Rod Vockler talking about “Environmentally Responsible Coatings.” Mark Taylor and Caitlin O'Brien will share their insights about the “Envirowash and Recovery Program” and will look at Reducing the Environmental Impact of Painting via Water Recycling and Plastic Recovery. The International Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Summit 2025 will take place online on March 24-25, with selected live venues and universities participating globally. This unique event is designed to equip attendees with practical, real-world strategies for creating more energy-efficient, sustainable designs that meet the pressing challenges of today. This 15-minute documentary offers a candid look at the delicate balance between family, life, and work for some of the remarkable women at DuluxGroup. As a company, we celebrate the progress we’ve made toward gender balance (40:40:20) and remain committed to continuous improvement. While many areas of our business have achieved this balance, we recognise there is still more to do. We remain optimistic about the positive impact we can create—not just within DuluxGroup but across our industry as well. The market first campaign launched by Dulux NZ, a dynamic digital campaign that brings the colours of the New Zealand skies and landscapes to life in real-time. The campaign captures live footage of the sky and surrounding scenery. As the sky shifts throughout the day and into night, the accompanying Dulux colours are shown, showcasing colour combinations inspired by the beautiful local landscapes of New Zealand. Architects, interior designers, specifiers, and students from Australia and New Zealand are invited to submit their most innovative and inspiring projects. The prestigious awards celebrate exceptional and creative use of Dulux colour in design across a diverse range of interior and exterior spaces, including residential, public, and commercial environments. Five of Australia and New Zealand’s most prolific architects and designers who have been recognised and awarded for their own work, will judge the 2025 awards entrants based on innovation, expression and execution of Dulux colour and product.
