#thankfulthursday 🙌 A casual conversation at a basketball game sparked a nationwide initiative to collect unused phones for domestic violence victims. Elisha Jones from Maurice Blackburn Lawyers suggested collecting phones from their offices, which led to a coordinated effort by Ton Nguyen and Steven Lowe, with the support of Greg Emsley. We were honoured to collect 84 phones from their Brisbane office. As this month is Sexual Violence Awareness Month, DV Safe Phone is running a campaign to restore 1,000 phones for domestic violence victims. This initiative aims to raise $75,000 and builds upon the momentum generated by the successful phone collection campaign. Thanks to the generous support of Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, we’ve already secured 84 phones to restore for victims in need. Join us and make a difference this month:

🎉 A Major Milestone at DV Safe Phone 🎉 Today, with full hearts, we proudly celebrate sending out our 10,000th phone to a victim of domestic violence. Each phone represents safety, a lifeline, and hope for a better tomorrow. We couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our community, volunteers, and donors who believe in this mission as much as we do. 💜 But there’s even more to celebrate. Today, the LNP has committed to providing $1M in funding over the next four years if elected—an investment in the future of DV Safe Phone and the countless lives we aim to protect. This funding would allow us to expand, reach more victims, and ensure that no one is left without the critical support they need. We are deeply humbled by this milestone and excited for what’s ahead. Together, we are changing lives, one phone at a time. 📱✨ #DVSafePhone #Milestone #10kPhones #Hope #Support #EndDomesticViolence #LNP #Safety
