Today is Thank a Superintendent day. The turf managers that maintain golf courses have to manage a complex work environment and have many factors outside of their control. The turf folk have to adapt to changing weather conditions in order to meet stakeholder expectations. This means that they have to make decisions in real time in order to acheive best possible outcomes. The results of their decisions are highly visible to their stakeholders. The turf managers work hard to deliver a great sport experience as well as provide eco system services like habitat protection, flood mitigation and green spaces. We are going to take a few minutes out of our day and extend #gratitude to those hardworking and sincere individuals in the turf management profession. The attached post is a case study of three of the many golf course superintendents who deliver great outcomes for 365 days a year. #thankasuperintendent #ecosystem #turf #sport #thankasuper #thankagreenkeeper #sportsturfmanagement
We extend our thanks to our incredible Golf Course Superintendent, Cameron Smith, and our invaluable Assistant Superintendents, Trevor Ridge and Andrew Lothian, who do an incredible job managing The Pines and The Palms golf courses, respectively. Their dedication, expertise, and hard work ensure our courses are always in pristine condition, providing the perfect setting for every round of golf. Cameron, Trevor, and Andrew, your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. Thank you for your outstanding contributions. #ThankASuper #ThankAGreenkeeper #GolfCourseMaintenance
