About us
Environmental Education NSW is a State Chapter of the Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE), the national peak professional association for environmental educators in Australia. We support environmental educators across the state in many sectors to engage audiences and achieve pro-environmental behaviour change. We also operate as AAEE NSW, Sustainable Schools NSW and Sustainability Connect. We represent environmental educators across the state in discussions and debates, and provide recommendations on sustainability issues and directions for a sustainable future. Our members represent schools, tertiary education institutions, local councils, state government agencies, non-government organisations and private companies. We run the NSW Environmental Education Awards annually and the NSW Environmental Education Conference every second year.
