This week, our IVM team is on the ground in Longreach, collaborating with key partners like Desert Channels Group in Queensland (DCQ), gaining valuable insights into how Method 240 SL enhances their efforts in combating invasive woody weeds across Far North Queensland. Partnerships with organizations like DCQ allow us to understand how the Envu portfolio can best support our customers in their efforts to gain control of invasive species and aid in the management of landscapes across their regions. There’s also nothing more exciting for our team then meeting with customers in their backyard and gaining a deep understanding of the challenges they face each and every day.  #envu #envuanz

Envu is excited to announce that we have signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Global Specialty Solutions (GSS) business from FMC Corporation. #Envu is proud to be solely focused on the environmental science sector. We see this acquisition not only as an opportunity to support our growth strategy but also, and more importantly, to bring even more powerful innovations for customers in #pestmanagement, #golf, #turf & ornamentals and more. “As a focused company that is dedicated to delivering forward-thinking solutions for our customers, we are excited by the prospect of joining forces with the GSS business,” said Gilles Galliou, CEO. “We see significant synergies and potential for accelerated innovation from the combination.” The transaction is expected to close by year-end 2024, subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions. We look forward to maximizing our collective strengths and working together to advance healthy environments for everyone, everywhere. Read the full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/g-qmEqWq

We are proud to share today with our partners and stakeholders that our first Sustainability Report for the fiscal year of 2023 is now publicly available on our global website. It marks the first year of our #sustainability strategy as a company. At #Envu, we believe that ensuring longevity requires a different perspective. To solve some of the biggest challenges our customers, communities and society face, our focus must be on the future of our environments. That focus requires us to have boots on the ground alongside our customers to identify and understand challenges through their eyes. As a business, we see environments from micro to macro and have a deep understanding of how to help them flourish. We pair this point of view with a laser-sharp industry focus. This deep expertise and care for our customers and stakeholders combine to create two invaluable results: trust and impact… Trust that we can identify the issues at hand and create lasting, sustainable solutions. And impact for the customers we serve, the communities we live and work in, and the environments that - without proper care and urgent attention - face serious risks. As leaders in this industry and members of the communities we serve, envisioning a more sustainable future is only the beginning. We strive to lead the way toward that future because the challenges we solve today ensure a healthy future for all. “Since we became a stand-alone company in October of 2022, we have documented our aspirations and ambitions to make a positive impact on society and nature including through our products and services,” said Gilles Galliou, CEO. “And now, through this report, we are highlighting successes, charting the path forward and outlining the important work that lies ahead.” Our sustainability journey is one of partnership; if you wish to be part of our next set of stakeholder interviews, and build together initiatives advancing our journey forward, feel free to contact our Head of ESG, Marine Sanouiller at marine.sanouiller@envu.com. And that’s a wrap! The Envu Australian team was thrilled to participate in the annual The Australian Sports Turf Managers Association Exhibition last week. Held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the conference encompassed educational seminars and showcased the latest innovations in the turf management industry. The event brought together hundreds of sports turf management professionals, including Superintendents, Grounds Managers, Greenkeeping Staff, Curators, and Turf Maintenance Personnel. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops and seminars related to agronomy, team management, biodiversity and sustainability led by both Australian and international experts. We were thrilled to sponsor the 2024 ASTMA Excellence in Golf Course Management Award on Monday night, which went to Tom Tristram from Secret Harbour Golf Club, Western Australia recognising his dedication and innovative approach to improving course playability that has set a benchmark in the industry. Envu’s own Jyri Kaapro, Senior Market Development Specialist also joined Dr. Jay McCurdy, in an interactive workshop discussing management programs for weeds in warm-season grasses, including pre- and post-emergent options which was a valuable and informative session comparing Australian and US practices. Thanks to The Australian Sports Turf Managers Association for again providing an invaluable opportunity for networking and connection within this important industry, and to the Envu ANZ team for you support and contribution. We look forward to continuing our partnership and seeing everyone again in 2025! #ASTMA2024 #TurfManagement #EnvuANZ

We are thrilled to announce Tom Tristram from Secret Harbour Golf Club, Western Australia, as the recipient for the 2024 The Australian Sports Turf Managers Association Excellence in Golf Course Management Award, sponsored by Envu.   Tom's journey in the golf industry began just ten years ago, and his dedication and hard work quickly saw him rise to the role of superintendent at the age of 25. Under his leadership, Secret Harbour has flourished, with significant improvements in course playability, major upgrades, and a thriving maintenance team. Tom’s innovative and progressive approach has truly set a benchmark for the industry.   We would also like to acknowledge the other outstanding finalists for this prestigious award:   - Malcolm Harris (formerly of Northbridge Golf Club, NSW) - Glen Beauclerc (formerly of Oxley Golf Club, QLD) - Tom Filtness (Kingston Beach Golf Club, TAS)   Their contributions and excellence in golf course management have not gone unnoticed, and they each deserve commendation for their professionalism and dedication.   At Envu, we're proud to support ASTMA in recognizing the best in our industry. Join us in celebrating Tom and the incredible achievements of all our finalists!   #EnvuANZ #ASTMAAwards #ASTMA2024 #TurfManagement #GolfIndustry #ExcellenceInTurfManagement
