Meet Judy: Our Line Dancing SuperStar! Let us introduce you to Judy, our fabulous Senior Client Services Officer. Judy isn't just a superstar at Ericom; she's also a line dancing aficionado with a passion that spans over 30 years! Three decades of dancing joy, Phew… Can you imagine? All thanks to her father-in-law who introduced her to line dancing when she was a young mum. Dancing quickly became her thing, and her club turned into an extended family, offering support and joy through life's ups and downs. Recently, Judy participated in the STOMP line dancing competition at the Wollongong Town Hall, an event created by her instructor Maddison Glover. And guess what? Judy's group performance won silver in the student instructor dancing category! The real challenge, she says, was remembering the steps in front of an audience. But the event was more than just a competition; it was a charity event to raise funds for Motor Neuron Disease (MND) research, which affects 1,400 individuals Australia wide. With high-energy music and a crowd of up to 400 people on the dance floor, it was a night to remember. When asked how this event impacted her personally and professionally, Judy simply answered, it fills her with joy. It's as simple as that. She said, "When you're happy in your personal life, you're happy at work." And did I mention she can dance for 4.5 hours straight. Her advice to everyone: "Don’t wait, just start“.
