Great progress this past week on our regional Victorian project in Venus Bay! Here we faced the challenge of balancing comfort with fire and wind safety. While conventional wisdom might suggest concrete or steel to be used within the bushfire zones, these materials often require extensive insulation to achieve occupant comfort. Decoupling the building fabric using Evissa SIPs, allows us to provide great thermal performance while incorporating a separate, robust fire and wind shield against our building fabric.
