Reflecting on a fantastic session last week led by Prue Cowin at BioMelbourne Network's #BioSymposium! Prue’s session explored how companies can effectively position their IP to stand out in the increasingly competitive ADC landscape. Three key takeaways from the session: 1. Big pharma partnerships are driving growth — Licensing deals continue to be bolstered by big pharma ADC collaborations 2. Stand out with a compelling investment story — Focus on compelling clinical and market need for ADC investment propositions 3. Protect your advantage — Establish a patent strategy that not only safeguards innovation but also appeals to potential collaborators and investors. A fantastic opportunity to share expertise and contribute to the #ADC conversation!

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded that mental health matters every day. Through our Employee Assistance Program, Mental Health Officers, and regular workshops, we prioritise well-being and encourage open conversations. We were pleased to welcome back Sally Cumming, Founder of Engage Health and a “personal trainer for the mind,” who shared neuroscience-backed strategies to build mental resilience through breathwork, mindfulness, and emotional regulation. Sally also highlighted the power of gratitude, explaining how just 21 days of practice can rewire the brain for more positive emotions. Thank you, Sally, for sharing your expertise and practical tools to support our mental health—all invaluable in today’s busy world! World Health Organization (WHO) #WorldMentalHealthDay

Do you regularly review your trade mark portfolio?🔍 Regular trade mark reviews are essential for both companies and in-house attorneys. While trade marks can last for 10 years and ultimately in perpetuity if renewed, older marks can sometimes be overlooked. Sarah Dixon outlines why it's important to take the time to stay on top of your portfolio to ensure your trade marks are working for your business. #trademarks #BrandProtection #IPStrategy
