Last week, Tourism Western Australia presented the unforgettable "West Coast to West Coast" dinner series at Malibu Beach Inn Hotel and Spa's Carbon Beach Club. This special event featured a collaboration between our very own Cape Lodge Head Chef, Adam Robson Chew, and Carbon Beach Club's Executive Chef, Joshua Balague. Guests were treated to a five-course menu that beautifully married the flavours of Western Australia and California, featuring dishes such as Spot Prawn Carpaccio and Monkfish with mussel béarnaise sauce. The event showcased the exquisite offerings from our award-winning wine region, Margaret River, creating a truly unique culinary experience worth making the trip down south for. We are pleased to welcome Strange Festival back to our Perth CBD asset, Carillon City, this June. A local winter arts festival encouraging visitors to explore the hidden corners of Perth City, Strange Festival will run from 14-23 June and transform more than 20 vacant spaces throughout the city into a wonderland of mysterious and marvelous installations, exhibitions, and performances. Welcoming over 50 artists under one roof, this year’s festival will see Carillon City anchor a hub of activity, including a brand new live performance space launched in the building’s former food court — aptly named Strange Court. We are thrilled to announce our first Fiveight hospitality collaboration with Singapore’s hottest Michelin star refined barbecue establishment, Burnt Ends Hospitality Group, which will host an exclusive pop-up at our iconic Cottesloe venue, Indigo Oscar, over two nights this May. Alan Ford, Head of Hospitality Operations at Fiveight said welcoming a culinary heavyweight to Indigo Oscar for an exclusive collaboration supports Fiveight’s vision to curate unique Australian experiences for guests. “We are thrilled to be welcoming Dave Pynt and his team at Burnt Ends for what will be an exclusive two days of dining unlike anything ever experienced at Indigo Oscar before. An ode to Latin America’s love of barbeque, Indigo Oscar guests will have the opportunity to revel in local flavours with a Burnt Ends twist which we’re anticipating will be the hottest, smokiest event on our calendar this May." We are developers of landmarks. We are custodians of places. And now, we are curators of experiences. Today we are proud to welcome a new hospitality arm to Fiveight, which will see Z1Z welcomed to Fiveight. Fiveight CEO, Paige Walker said hospitality is a natural evolution of Fiveight's unique approach to creating iconic Australian places. “Extending from the development of landmarks and custodianship of assets, we will now work as one team to create curated experiences that will truly transform a property to a meaningful place. These three arms of our business will work together to deliver on our sustainable placemaking purpose and positively impact the communities in which we operate,” Paige Walker, CEO of Fiveight Discover our portfolio here: www.fiveight.com/portfolio

As part of our partnership with Perth Festival, we’re thrilled to host artist Linda Tegg at our Perth CBD asset, Carillon City. As the artist behind Wetland, Linda’s installation immerses the public in the wonders of plant communities that have been purposely juxtaposed against Carillon City’s built environment. Aptly located in the basement of Carillon City, Wetland is reminiscent of the brackish swamplands that once lined the foreshores of the Swan River and creates a new platform for connecting people and plants in a shared condition. Discover Linda’s Perth Festival installation at Carillon City until 3 March 2024.
