How long have you been at Focus? 📅 Since March 2023 What does a day in the life of your role at Focus look like? 📋My day is filled with a great variety of tasks. Often it looks like bouncing between coordinating meetings with clients, answering calls, posting on our social media, formatting documents, prepping for workshops and keeping up with orders for the office. What makes you passionate about working in the HR industry? 🤝 Watching the team apply their HR expertise to each client's unique situation, creating a positive impact through thoughtful problem-solving and innovative solutions. How do you like to spend your downtime? ☀️ I am a huge fan of catching up with friends for coffee and pastry. But if I'm not out and about I will most likely be enjoying a book or some baking. Today marked the start of the Future Leaders Program for one of our amazing clients! 🏆 Starting off their 7 month journey with DiSC for Management, they have dived into understanding their personal leadership styles, learning how to read and adapt to the styles of others, and mastering the skill of managing upwards to create a motivating environment for their teams. Next they'll cover Blanchard Management Essentials, along with a series of practical people management skills sessions on delegation, time management, providing feedback and handling poor performers. We are excited to be on the journey with this great group of leaders 🌱🌟
