Continuing the dialogue from yesterday’s AltProteins 24 conference, this morning Food Frontier and the Climateworks Centre co-hosted a networking brunch where guests explored the interconnected relationship between our food system and climate change. We were grateful to hear from keynote speaker Satya S. Tripathi and inspired to see new connections being made within the room; discussing the need for recognition of food as a climate change priority and pathways forward for sustainable food systems transformation.

We kickstarted the day with a stirring keynote from Satya S. Tripathi, Secretary-General at Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet. He addressed the "room full of changemakers" and spoke to the urgent need to understand and address the challenges surrounding climate change and food systems. "Everything is at risk because nature exists in a very fine balance in a range of tolerance...we really need to act, we need to make sure the ideas that deserve our support happen here and now to ensure we live to tell the tale." Today, we are excited to hear more about and take action on those very ideas from the people who are leading the charge in driving a sustainable future of food. #AltProteins24 #FoodSystems #Climate
