Story 121 for Founderoo is with founder Parvez Akther and his company ThriveDesk. 🚀 Parvez started from scratch in Bangladesh and built a SaaS that's now making $30K+ a year. How? By solving a problem he knew inside out - affordable customer support for small businesses. Key takeaways: - Start with what you know - Build a community before the product - Don't be afraid to bootstrap Parvez's journey shows that with hard work and the right idea, you can build something great. It's never easy but if you find a real problem to solve and stay persistent, you'll get there. Check out the full story on Founderoo. It's bloody good! 🔗 Link in the comments.

Founderoo has been grinding away for a while now, and we're finally seeing some real traction from our SEO. It's been a tough journey, but we're not about to quit. Right now, we're hitting a steady 20,000 visitors per month from all over the world. Around 80% of that is pure organic search. Thanks to all the SEO work we've put in (shoutout to Farzan M. 💪), we're confident we can push that to 100,000 visitors a month. We talked to a few SEO experts early on but decided to go solo so we could really get to grips with it ourselves. Farzan dove into Ahrefs, we took Pat Walls' SEO strategy course, and we figured it out as we went. Now, as we keep growing, it's time to start making some money from the site—it's been taking money from Farzan and my wallet for long enough. #founderstories

I interview/study successful founders + share their stories. Product at Ignition. Founder at Founderoo, Testimonial Donut + Kaddim

The past couple of years have taught me a lot about the importance of compounding, being consistent, persistent and giving things the time they need to germinate and grow. When I started working with Guy on getting to 10K monthly visitors for Founderoo, it seemed like a distant dream. We knew nothing about SEO and organic growth. We were determined to figure it out. We've not only surpassed 10,000 monthly visitors, but now have our sights set on 100,000. I'm going to apply the same principle to the sales and marketing of Testimonial Donut. Getting to hundreds of paying customers is a distant dream but I'm confident our investments will eventually pay off and we will get there and beyond.

It's a big week for Founderoo as we hit 11K people on the site over the last 30 days. This is the largest 30 days ever, so we're stoked. 80% of those are through SEO, which means our work on SEO is working. 💪 Founder story #117 tells the story of Derrick Boddie and how he got to 10KMRR with his web design business. Thanks for all your time on this Derrick. 🙏 See How Derrick Boddie has: 💵 Grown Mango Innovation to $10K MRR. 🚀 Built a thriving web design business from high school dreams. 👥 Created innovative web solutions for medium to large businesses. 📈 Attracted 1K+ visitors per month through word-of-mouth and online presence. 🌐 Bootstrapped his company to success without external funding. My top 5 takeaways from Derrick's Journey: 👉 Leverage educational background and diverse skills to build a business. 👉 Gain initial clients through network referrals and showcasing past work. 👉 Offer flexible and value-driven services to meet client needs. 👉 Use social media and online platforms to expand reach and acquire clients. 👉 Maintain a balance between work and personal life to stay sane and motivated. "Stop thinking and start doing." Derrick's journey exemplifies the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and continuous learning in achieving entrepreneurial success. 🔗 Link to the story will be in the comments. $0 to $26M ARR in 6 years bootstrapped | I share tips on how to grow a profitable SaaS business | Founder & CEO @lempire (lemlist, lemwarm, lemcal, taplio, tweethunter)

If there’s one advice I could give you as an entrepreneur, it’s to: Optimize your life’s decisions based on the memories you’ll create. You see, in the last 8 years, I have: - Failed multiple businesses - Exited my first SaaS - Bootstrapped lempire to $26M in ARR and $10M in EBITDA - Invested in 10s of startups - Acquired multiple SaaS for multi-million dollar deals And if there’s one thing I’m sure of is that: You cannot control the outcome, but you can control the output. I’ve seen incredibly talented people fail, and I’ve also seen how “luck” can transform the lives of people who, on paper, “don’t deserve it”… Ultimately, if the only thing you can control is the output - then your sole focus should be creating the right environment. Surround yourselves with the right people, and work in a place where you feel valued and challenged while you can learn something new each day. Last week, we went to Grece with the team and everyone we’ve made some memories that we will keep for a lifetime ✌️ And in the end, that’s the most important ❤️

    🎨 Design-as-a-Service @ Magic Design | 🏰 Co-Founder @ Wizard Ventures ► Building an Internet Holding

Being a founder is not for everyone. And what you see from the outside is not what it really is. I have been building startups for over 10y+ now and it still feels like day one. If someone would ask me what it's like I would probably say: "Imagine riding down a mountain and figuring out how to build the brakes for your car on the way". Every day there are problems thrown onto my desk. I need to solve them, so that my business can continue - and they get bigger and bigger over time. Sometimes I don't even see a way out. But one thing is for sure. If i trust myself and my skills I will find a way. So happy tuesday to all founders out there! You're one a hell of a species. #founder #entrepreneur
