We had the privilege to meet and engage with the next 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, Mrs Lynette Wood! ✨   A couple of weeks ago, Foreign Minister Penny Wong announced Australia’s next Ambassador to Paris, one of the most senior diplomatic postings for Australia in Europe.   We were delighted to receive this week an early opportunity to meet with the Ambassador-designate, a key figure for the ongoing work of Team France, in Sydney and in Adelaide to explore the Australian Government’s priorities for the bilateral relationship, as well as the extensive trade and investment interests of our members between Australia and France.   Thanks to outgoing Ambassador Gillian Bird PSM for her contributions to advancing Australia’s interests in France since 2020! 🌸𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗥𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿🌸 The French Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry sponsored and attended the 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗥𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in order to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. With 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 expected to be diagnosed this year, and 𝟯,𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 lost annually (including 33 men), the mission of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to achieve 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 is more crucial than ever. We were inspired by Associate Professor Cleola Anderiesz and Sue Murray OAM, respectively CEO and former CEO of NBCF, whose words deepened our commitment to this cause.
