We had an amazing time celebrating at the Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Business Awards Gala Dinner on Friday night! ✨ It’s truly an honour to have been nominated this year, and we want to extend a huge congratulations to all of the winners, especially to Future Anything for taking out the social enterprise award. It was a wonderful evening with a room full of talented and inspiring business leaders. A massive thank you to Brisbane Economic Development Agency for hosting such a fantastic event and a special mention to Queensland Major Contractors Association, Queensland Social Enterprise Council, Social Traders and Simon George & Sons for your ongoing support. #LMBA2024

Only 3 more sleeps until the big night! The Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Business Award #LMBA2024 winners will be announced on Friday, and being one of the four finalists in the Hutchinson Builders Social Enterprise Award category has us on the edge of our seats with excitement. We’re proud beyond words of being recognised for this prestigious award by the Queensland business community – thank you! 🙌 We wish our co-finalists - TradeMutt, yourtown and Future Anything - the best of luck and as Rob Brown, our Chief Chance Creator says, “There’s nothing better than healthy competition, and no matter who wins, the world wins.” 🏆 Wish us luck 🤞

Last Thursday we sadly said goodbye to someone very special to us, Lewins (Lew) Turner 🩶 Lew was part of the Fruit2Work team for 5 years. He wanted a fresh start and to mend bridges burnt after many years of regretful decisions. Lew not only achieved all of the goals he set, he blew them out of the water. Lew was quickly promoted to Warehouse Manager and was highly respected by his colleagues. Not only for his strong work ethic, but for the kindness and respect he offered to all who met him. He had a very cheeky sense of humour and was a much-adored member of the team. Sadly Lew was diagnosed with cancer in his fifth year and forced to retire early. He died peacefully surrounded by his family and closest friends 💙 RIP Lew

Did you know that coffee is actually a fruit? ☕ That’s right! Before they become our morning favourite, the seeds of coffee cherries are first processed to produce roasted beans. So, while you enjoy a cup, you’re technically sipping on a fruit juice! 😜 Here at Fruit2Work, whether you prefer to get a stock of fruit or coffee for your team, we’ve got you covered!
