  • On Thursday, we held the inaugural Gateway Capital Agency Awards at Shell House in Sydney. It was a special evening to recognise the outstanding achievements of our agency teams across Australia, and to bring our colleagues and friends together to reflect on our collective success.   • We're pleased to share that we have acquired 2 Christina Road, Villawood in partnership with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and an Asian Sovereign Wealth Fund, through the Gateway Capital Urban Logistics Partnership (GULP) vehicle.   This prime grade asset spans 69,161 sqm across separate 12 tenancies ranging from approximately ~2,000 sqm to ~13,000 sqm. Newly completed in July 2024, the asset is strategically located just 13km from Sydney’s CBD and 12km from the airport, offering unmatched access to 80% of Sydney’s population within a 60-minute drive.   The acquisition reinforces GULP’s focus on high-demand urban logistics assets, driven by e-commerce growth and last-mile delivery needs. We’re proud to continue the expansion of our footprint in this thriving sector.

  • We’re excited to share that Laura Knapman, Casey Greenberg and Paul Jewiss have been appointed to the Property Council of Australia 2025/26 Committees! Committee members play a key role in shaping advocacy, networking, professional development, and research initiatives within the industry. Laura Knapman has joined the Industrial and Logistics Committee (NSW), where she will focus on key issues surrounding the growth of industrial property, including employment lands policy and the planning and infrastructure frameworks that support this growth. Casey Greenberg has joined the Market Trends and Strategic Investment Roundtable (Capital Markets) in Victoria, a think tank focused on identifying and recommending strategies to tackle emerging market trends impacting real estate capital markets. Paul Jewiss has joined the Industrial and Logistics Committee (Academy), where he will help guide the development of the Industrial and Supply Chain Industry Diploma curriculum. We’re incredibly proud to see Gateway Capital represented by Laura, Casey and Paul and we look forward to the positive impact they’ll make through their contributions!

  • We are pleased to share two significant lease deals recently completed at Urban Acres, recognised as the two largest Monash Precinct office transactions of 2024!   Electrical distribution giant, Wesco, have signed a 7-year lease at 321 Ferntree Gully Road. The team will occupy 2288 sqm, with the added benefit of 100 car parks.   Market leading custom design home builder, Carter Grange Homes, have signed a 7-year lease at 315 Ferntree Gully Road, spanning 1453 sqm and 80 car parks.   Both deals are a testament to the hard work of the whole team at Urban Acres and our fantastic agency teams, CBRE and Colliers. Thank you also to the team at Tenant CS for their support with both transactions.
