Last week, we attended and sponsored the welcome dinner at the 2024 International Breast Cancer Conference in Leura, Blue Mountains. It was an engaging and informative multidisciplinary breast cancer event, featuring some incredible local and international speakers, including a few of our own amazing doctors. A shout out to A/Prof Tim wang who presented on 'Palliation in Breast Care', A/Prof Gillian Lamoury who presented twice on 'Refinement of RT fields' and 'Is there still a role for reverse sequencing', and A/Prof Michael Ng who presented on 'Dissecting B51- does it change practice in 2024'. yvonne zissiadis, Nicola Forsyth and Julia Schulz, along with Sarah Wise from UTS and the Perth Specialist Breast Care surgeons, also presented a poster on: "Bundling and patient navigation in early-stage breast cancer care –interim findings of a 100-patient pilot study. Thanks to Marie Burke OAM for your welcome address at the conference dinner. To all our doctors, we're sure all of your talks were well received and your insights appreciated! Lastly, a big thanks to Samantha Redfearn and Moe Hallani for supporting this event onsite. #internationalbreastcancerconference2024 #designingbettercare
