Our water team have just wrapped up at the International Water Association Conference in Toronto, Canada, where they gained incredible insights into equitable water and #climatechange and #sustainability. Key takeaways from the conference included: 💧 Addressing #SustainableDevelopmentGoal 6 – ensuring access to water and sanitation for all – is fundamental for current and future global communities. 💧The tools and solutions required to make a significant impact in the water sector are already available. It’s crucial we start leveraging these resources effectively. 💧Climate change is a pressing concern and building resilience against its impacts is a shared priority. #Decarbonisation is part of everyone’s plan to mitigate climate change. The expectation for resilient communities is growing and coastlines from New York all the way to Melbourne are at the forefront of these efforts. 💧Achieving safe and clean drinking water for all requires collaboration across various sectors, including utilities, engineering consultancies, academic institutions and communities.
