The medium-long term fundamentals of lithium is back in the spotlight following Rio Tinto's acquisition of Arcadium Lithium for USD$6.7 billion (AUD$10 billion). "Rio's Stausholm told investors that by the end of the decade the company expects a shortfall in supply, with a more than 10% compound annual growth rate in demand through to 2040, boosted by electric vehicles and energy storage." Global Lithium's Tier-1 Manna Lithium Project hosts a MRE of 51.6Mt @ 1.0% Li2O, the second largest lithium resources in the Kalgoorlie Lithium Province. https://lnkd.in/gD6WxZfT

We have successfully completed all required Aboriginal Heritage Surveys and clearances for the future development of the Manna Lithium Project. Our Executive Chair Ron Mitchell commented: “It has been a great pleasure building positive relationships with Kakarra Part B Elders and People as we complete Heritage Surveys and continue to work together towards a Native Title Mining Agreement. "In addition the recent execution of the majority of the remaining land access agreements allows the granting of various miscellaneous licenses for key Project infrastructure including the mine village, aerodrome, solar farm and access corridors. "The completion of all Aboriginal Heritage surveys and several land access agreements marks a key milestone as we continue to cost-effectively and responsibly de-risk the Project and ensure its readiness for development in the future.” Read more: https://loom.ly/PSyurW8

Global Lithium had the privilege of hosting Kakarra Traditional Owners Travis Tucker, Anita Hogan and Tarra Velickovic at the Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum in Kalgoorlie last month. The group joined our Community Relations Manager Nicole Stein, and other key Company executives, at the event over three days, and were provided with full delegate passes including tickets to the Gala Ball on the final evening. During the forum they were provided with opportunities to expand their knowledge of mining in Western Australia, gain valuable insights into lithium and the spodumene concentration process, as well as lithium’s importance in delivering a sustainable clean energy future. The event also featured a fun photo opportunity with some former AFL stars including West Coast Eagles former Captain and Coach John Worsfold, Chris Judd, and former AFL player Nyoongar-Yamatji Des Headland, adding a memorable touch to the occasion! Attending the conference together aimed to strengthen relationships between Global Lithium and the Kakarra Traditional Owners, integrating them into the mining community and providing valuable networking opportunities and new connections. Our Community Relations Manager Nicole Stein said: "We had a fantastic few days at Diggers hosting Travis, Anita and Tarra on behalf of Global Lithium. We are committed to respecting and appreciating the Indigenous communities we collaborate with, and look forward to our continued work together into the future.”

Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1) has announced the completion of metallurgical testwork for the Manna Project, achieving a 78% Li2O recovery, an 8% increase since beginning the optimisation process. ✅ "This increase in overall lithia recovery and finalisation of the spodumene beneficiation flow sheet design fundamentally de-risks Manna and is a terrific result by the Project Development team as we near completion of the Project DFS. "The 78% lithia recovery delivered through this extensive metallurgical testwork program is testament to the unique characteristics of the Manna ore body and is expected to have a positive impact on the overall project economics of Manna, through extra spodumene concentrate production and additional revenue." - Global Lithium Executive Chairman Ron Mitchell #ASX #ASXNews #Investing #Mining #Lithium Subscribe to the weekly Stock Market Newsletter www.themarketbull.com.au https://lnkd.in/gfgPmPwe
