Goldfields Aboriginal Business Chamber Youth Week Event Promotion Celebrating the Power of Young People at Youth Week WA 2025! The Goldfields Aboriginal Business Chamber is proud to present a FREE special Youth Week WA event on Wednesday, 9th April 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Goldfields Arts Centre, Kalgoorlie. This event is a part of Youth Week WA. This year’s theme, ‘Our Threads, This Place, Your Moment,’ focuses on the connection young people have with their community, each other, and themselves – a ‘patchwork’ of contributions, large or small, that together form the rich tapestry of Western Australia. We’re excited to announce that Troy Cook, an inspirational leader and former elite athlete, will be our keynote speaker. From his early days in regional WA to becoming a Fremantle Football Club legend, and now a business leader and community advocate, Troy has always demonstrated how dedication and hard work can create opportunities for success. Troy continues to inspire as a mentor and community leader, particularly within the Indigenous community. This event will provide an incredible opportunity for youth aged 13 to 18 years to hear Troy’s powerful story and connect with their peers while celebrating Youth Week WA. Date: Wednesday, 9th April 2025 Location: Goldfields Arts Centre, Kalgoorlie Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM Catering: Light lunch provided at 12:00 PM Cost: Free Spots are limited – so make sure to secure your place! Register for the event here: Youth Week 2025 Event Registration https://lnkd.in/grYgMkkv We look forward to seeing you there as we come together to celebrate the contributions and achievements of our youth in the Goldfields and beyond. Don't miss out on this unique and inspiring event #YouthWeekWA2025 | #GoldfieldsYouth | #OurThreadsThisPlaceYourMoment
