    Reflecting on our journey with Golf Gods as we approach 10 years in the business, we can't help but chuckle at the humble beginnings. From brainstorming over beers as tradies to shipping products worldwide, it's been a wild ride. Who knew a late-night idea session would turn into a multi-million dollar venture? Despite the challenges—thanks, COVID—we've learned to hustle hard and stay true to our vision. So, to all the aspiring e-commerce enthusiasts out there, remember: find your niche, stand out from the crowd, and never underestimate the power of a crazy idea backed by relentless determination.     Today, we are celebrating the successes of Golf Gods Athletes competing in the World Long Drive Championship Finals this weekend. We have six athletes competing in this year's World Championships. We wish all of our boys the best of luck this weekend. The golf gods will be on your side this weekend, and looking out for you.

    In 2014, Golf Gods' objective was to provide an alternative for your average golfer looking to have a bit of fun, and not take themselves too seriously. In 2024, our core mission has not changed, rather evolved. We will never conform to the traditional image of ‘what golf should be.’ Time and tide stand still for no one, Golf Gods are no exception. Our catalogue now extends to over 500 different products, with over 1,000 different variations stretching across all genders, shapes and sizes. Fashion and streetwear included, to say we have fingers dipped in many pies would be understatement - and people love our pies. Golf Gods will always be the golf brand for the people, by the people. We now just have more people in our party.

    Golf Gods was founded in the backroom of co-founder Dale Smedley house. This became Golf Gods first office, with the shed being used as the first warehouse! Coincidentally, that house is 400 metres away from our headquarters today, and on the same street Shaun Trevillian lived on when he first moved out of his family home. Here, Dale and Shaun found that they had entered the unknown not knowing. Neither of the boys had ever bought anything online, let alone had any fundamental experience in buying and selling in the ever changing world of e-commerce. This led to a lot of after work knock off beers discussing how we could get into online business. To say it was like going down a rabbit hole would be understatement. In the early 2010s dropshipping and eBay reselling was exploding and the world of online shopping was going to change forever. What they learnt was that we were able to replicate and mirror different strategies of brands who had dabbled in this space on instagram who were selling to their core fan base that they had built. However, probably the most important take away for the boys was that there is no one size fits all approach to e-commerce, with optimisations and algorithms from as little as 3 months prior potentially not being relevant today. In order to be successful they had to constantly grow and evolve, being bold in their decision making in order to survive and play their part in shaping the industry to what it is today.

    Got a visit from Australias first NHL player Nathan Walker this afternoon! He was also the first of many sports stars to send us in a guernsey, framed on the wall is his Hershey Bears top, and we’re holding his current St Louis Blues one 💪

    The philosophy of Golf Gods was and always will be to put the fun back in to golf, giving everyone the opportunity to be bold on the course. If you like to have fun, not take your golf or yourself too seriously, we are the brand for you. When we started all the way back in 2014, there was a gap in the market for golfers who were either new to the sport, and or a casual player who didn’t want to conform to the social norms of the old game. Which was considered for the rich and elite. We wanted to bring this great game to the average punter,  bringing our fun, bold, and edgy nature to disrupt the foundations of the game. Since 2014, we have given golfers something they never thought would be possible, through our unique designs that have consistently stretched the boundaries of the otherwise traditional game. Bringing a light hearted, and pop-culturally significant style to our apparel. In 2024, we continue to create our new tradition of giving golfers an alternative to the norm, and bringing you the most distinctive, attitude driven apparel to don on the course. We started this as the ugly duckling the golf world didn't want to follow, and are now the leaders who shape this ever growing industry.
