Food waste and food insecurity remain an epidemic we have to face. As more and more councils embrace FOGO across the country, the food waste avoidance conversation becomes even more critical. 🥗 We had a lot of fun working with Blacktown City Council's waste team to bring you this video. Sometimes the simple things need to be made explicit like getting the best out of our most essential appliance, the fridge. ❄️ #fogo #foodwaste #wasteeducation #foodwasteeducation

Another week of FOGO education sessions with residents of the City of Parramatta. Check out the compost from Cleanaway Waste Management’s Eastern Creek facility. It exciting to know that soon the food and garden waste of over 200,000 residents will be making this resource rich product. We can’t wait to see the new FOGO champions spreading the word that FOGO is coming on November 11! https://lnkd.in/gpvgBtKt #fogo #nswcouncils #wasteeducation

Today marked the start of our work with the City of Parramatta on the FOGO launch in November 2024. We are thrilled to be curating workshops and content to train residents and FOGO community champions. A smooth transition to the new service will help everyone realise the benefits sooner.
