We are honoured to have topped the Equity Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) category in The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025. GPT topped the overall industry group as well as all aspects of Environmental, Social and Governance.     To be listed in the Yearbook, companies must score within the top 15% of their industry and must achieve an S&P Global Sustainability Score within 30% of their industry’s top-performing company in the S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).     This comes off the back of GPT ranking first among 243 listed real estate companies in the 2024 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), an important measure of ESG performance internationally.     Mark Harrison, Chief Investment Officer at GPT, said: “This result recognises GPT’s continuing ESG leadership through our integrated delivery of long-term value and positive outcomes for our stakeholders. We’ve grown our digital media footprint at GPT with the installation of 11 new digital advertising screens across three key Australian shopping centres, ensuring we deliver impactful advertising opportunities for retailers, leading brands and local businesses. The centrepiece of this expansion is The Panorama, an innovative 40-metre LED wrap-around screen at Shot Tower Square in Melbourne Central. As the largest digital void wrap screen in Australia in an enclosed retail environment, The Panorama is set to redefine visual storytelling in retail spaces. The new screens, installed at Melbourne Central, Highpoint Shopping Centre, and Rouse Hill Town Centre, increase GPT’s digital portfolio to 21 screens across 13 managed shopping centres nationwide. Chelsea Pottenger, the powerhouse behind EQ Minds, shared some serious wisdom with the GPT team for what was a treat of an International Women’s Day event, hosted by our Chief Investment Officer, Mark Harrison.   Chelsea, a mental health guru with an incredible personal journey to share, talked about the criticality of good self-care for us all, particularly in today’s hyper-connected, hectic world of constant change. In her session ‘The Mindful Performer’, Chelsea shared practical, accessible evidence based tools to help us protect our wellbeing, build resilience and perform at our best. She brought energy, clarity, and actionable tips to own your day, whomever you are.   Justine Knight, our Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing, shares: "Chelsea's mental wellbeing hacks are so powerful in their simplicity and so easy to build into life. This week, we announced the commencement of our $200m expansion of Rouse Hill Town Centre. Located in one of the fastest growing regions in Sydney, we are expanding the existing centre to deliver an additional 10,600 sqm of retail space, to accommodate the growing needs of our customers and community.  The expansion will include the addition of 50 new retailers, bringing an expanded retail offer comprising of new fashion, dining and leisure options, a new Town Green offering ease, convenience and connection for customers. Pre-construction site works with our construction partner ADCO Constructions have begun, with the new centre expected to open for the Christmas 2026 peak shopping season. For the second year running, we are proud to have been ranked in the top five organisations globally out of 3,547 publicly listed companies across 24 markets, with a market capitalisation of USD 2 billion and greater over the last two fiscal years, in the annual Gender Equality Global Report & Ranking released by Equileap, and to have ranked highest among all property companies worldwide. Today we released our 2024 Annual results.   Our CEO, Russell Proutt said: “2024 has been a year of successful operational improvement and delivery. In particular, it’s pleasing to see the significant lift in occupancy across the office portfolio. Coupled with the strong retail and logistics operational performance, this sets up the group for future earnings growth”. Yesterday GPT partnered with Chemist Warehouse and Vital Proteins to host three-time Grand Slam winner and former World number 1 tennis player, Andy Murray at Melbourne Central. The #MustDoMelbourne experience tapped into the wider-city Australian Open excitement, with over 400 tennis fans who travelled far and wide to enjoy the meet and greet activation at the centre with the British player turned coach of tennis great, Novak Djokovic. The commercial activation brought to life through our Business Development team, utilised the high impact large format screens within the Shot Tower square and was amplified across the asset. #ExperienceFirst
