  • Wishing you and your family a joyous Krishna Janmashtami!

Warm greetings to all devotees of Lord Krishna on this Janmashtami. Lord Krishna did not go to people’s houses to steal butter. I asked my Spiritual Master, “ People accept Lord Krishna as Bhagavan. When he was a child, Lord Krishna opened his mouth and showed his mother that the whole world was revolving in his mouth. In a person’s mouth, where the whole world is revolving, such a person is beyond the sense of taste. In fact, such a person is beyond the five senses. Since Lord Krishna was beyond the sense of taste, why did he go to people’s houses to steal white butter?” I asked my Spiritual Master, Saint Scholar Giani Naranjan Singh Ji, Shiromani Kathakar, the above question. The Master replied, “Lord Krishna did not go to people’s houses to steal white butter. Lord Krishna went to people’s houses to eat their white butter and purify their karmas.” In Indian culture, when a Spiritual Master or a holy person comes to the house, it is customary to offer this special guest milk, butter, malai ( cream from milk), ghee ( clarified butter), and yoghurt. By offering these dairy products to holy persons, the host has some of their karmas purified and also receives blessings from them.

  • Truck drivers thrive when they have solid relationships at home. These connections form the foundation for their success on the road. Family support boosts morale and motivation, helping drivers tackle long hauls with determination. Loved ones provide emotional stability, allowing drivers to focus on their work without distraction. Companies value drivers with strong home lives. These professionals often demonstrate better reliability and job satisfaction. They tend to communicate more effectively and handle stress with greater ease. Their positive outlook translates to improved safety records and customer service. You can nurture your home relationships while pursuing a trucking career. Schedule regular check-ins with family and friends. Share your experiences and listen to theirs. Plan quality time during your off-days. Embrace technology to stay connected on the road. Remember, a happy home life fuels your professional success. Invest in your relationships, and watch your career flourish.  Photo by Agung Pandit Wiguna: https://lnkd.in/g5HV4hp

  • The global economic forecast is extremely dismal. Global debt is now about $315 trillion. The world's debt increased by $1.3 trillion in the first three months of this year. This statement - "... our Transport division finished the year positively with improved demand in quarter four after experiencing a three-year low in quarter three." is certainly not reassuring. Demand that improves in a single quarter is not indicative of a longer-term trend.

Folks, it looks like that the Australian freight market has hit the bottom and is now on the way up... Agree? I posted on the financial results from Lindsay Australia Ltd earlier which you can see here if you missed it - https://shorturl.at/tlzw1 The thing which really stood out was the commentary from CEO Clayton McDonald, regarding transport volumes as highlighted in the snippet - "... our Transport division finished the year positively with improved demand in quarter four after experiencing a three-year low in quarter three." That's right... A THREE. YEAR. LOW. So has the freight market bottomed? Has it started to turn around? • Do you think truck drivers spend their entire day behind the wheel, cruising along in air-conditioned comfort? Think again. While driving is a significant part of their job, it's not all they do. Truck drivers also spend time loading and unloading their cargo. This can involve heavy lifting, manoeuvring pallets, and ensuring everything is securely fastened. They may also need to inspect their trucks for any mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance tasks. When they're not driving or working with cargo, truck drivers often have paperwork to complete. This includes logging their hours, documenting fuel purchases, and handling other administrative tasks. They even do some basic vehicle maintenance, including pre and post inspection of their truck. It's a demanding job that requires skill, patience, and a love for the open road.  Photo by cottonbro studio: https://lnkd.in/g3JSbw3N

  • AI cameras used for traffic enforcement in India are struggling to accurately detect seatbelt violations due to their inability to distinguish between seatbelts and clothing of similar colors.  This has led to many motorists receiving wrongful fines for failing to wear seatbelts, even when they were properly secured. The key issues with these AI cameras include: 1. Inability to Distinguish Colours: The cameras often misidentify seatbelts as part of the driver's attire, especially when they are wearing dark-coloured clothing. This has resulted in numerous fines being issued to compliant drivers[. 2. Public Confusion: Many motorists are unaware that AI cameras can fine both drivers and passengers for not wearing seatbelts. Some have shared experiences of receiving fines despite wearing seatbelts, leading to discussions about the fairness of these penalties. 3. High Violation Rates: In Kozhikode, Kerala, the introduction of AI cameras led to a significant number of recorded violations, with hundreds of instances of both drivers and passengers not wearing seatbelts within the first few days of operations.. 4. Technological Limitations: The AI systems are primarily designed to detect unbuckled seatbelts and helmet violations. However, they may not effectively capture violations if the individual is dressed in dark clothing or if the seatbelt blends with their attire. AI cameras are meant to increase road safety and traffic rule compliance, but their existing issues show that the technology and public communication require development.
