We’ve had an incredible and inspiring week at our Sound Country Artist Leadership Retreat on palawa land, connecting through our love for the living planet! We danced, we yarned, we sang and schemed for a better world. Can’t wait to see these extraordinary artists channel this experience to create and inspire meaningful change 💚 A big thank you to the team at Spring Bay Mill for looking after us, and to our wonderful funders: the Water Dragon Endowment, a part of the Community Impact Foundation and the NSW Government through Create NSW 🌱

Last month, in collaboration with the Australian Festival Association, we hosted the 5th Party With The Planet roundtable. Themed “Building a Pathway to Climate Resilient Festivals” the event saw representatives from the festival community, industry bodies and government join both online and in person on Gadigal Country ☀️ The insights and perspectives shared from participants were collated into a discussion paper which was submitted to the ‘Parliamentary Inquiry into the Challenges and Opportunities Within the Australian Live Music Industry’, and will be used to further the research of adaptation solutions for Aussie music festivals. Read more 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gkEkXaRH Thank you to Associate Professor Catherine Strong, Dr Ben Green, Dr Lauren Rickards and Dr Todd Denham, who prepared and facilitated these discussions! If you are a festival or event organiser interested in joining the PWTP alliance, get in touch with us to learn more about how you can get involved 🎉 – The Party With The Planet Alliance is supported by NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) and the NSW Government through Create NSW. #PWTP #ParliamentaryInquiry #AustralianLiveMusic #MusicEvents #MusicFestivals #ClimateChange
