Congratulations to Ella in Year 7, who was awarded 1st place in the Junior Division of the Rostrum Voice of Youth competition, and is progressing to the next stage! She excelled among 12 speakers, with only 2 students advancing. The next round will be challenging, requiring a 6-minute speech and an impromptu speech with just 15 minutes of preparation. Ella is excited and ready for the challenge! Additionally, Sanjna, Grace, Monique, Ameya and Evelyn, also did exceptionally well and gave their absolute best. We are very proud of our students' efforts and achievements.

Last Wednesday marked the first time in 2025 that our Good Samaritan Catholic College classes attended the Wednesday morning Mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. It was a beautiful way to begin this initiative for the year, as two of our Year 7 classes had the privilege of celebrating the Solemnity of St Joseph with Fr Simon and the Parish. Gathering as a faith community in this way strengthens our connection to the Eucharist and deepens our commitment to living out the values of the Good Samaritan. We look forward to continuing this tradition throughout the year!

Good Samaritan Catholic College recently came together to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, a significant occasion in Australian Catholic tradition. In addition to honouring the saint, we embraced the spirit of giving by wearing green and raising funds for Project Compassion, reflecting St. Patrick’s legacy of faith and charity.
